Step 1: Project Scope

This is the very first step to us starting a website design and development projects. By filling out our online form, you are providing us of important information that we can use to understand the overall scope of the project.

Step 2: The “legal stuff”

We will send you an offical invoice, which will come bundled with an overview of the project’s scope and a contract. Note: A 50% deposit is required to begin designing your new website.

Step 3: Mockup & Design

With a full understanding of the project’s scope, we will design a “homepage mockup.” This step is important because it communicates what our vision is for the website, and it allows you to review, feel comfortable with moving forward, and determine if it reflects what you are hoping for.

Step 5: Site Development

With designs approved, itโ€™s time we start developing the actual website. We will design each page based around the content provided (which will either need to be provided by you, or we can hire a professional copywriter on your behalf). Once the pages are built, we will send you a link on our production server so that you can review and provide feedback.

Step 6: Site Testing

Testing of the site is critical as there will inevitably be issues that need to be addressed before the site goes live. At this stage the site will be reviewed on multiple browsers (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer) and multiple devices (laptops, tablets, and mobile) to see if and where breaks occur.

Step 7: Final Approval

We’re almost there! We will ask for your final approval before we officially take the website live.

Step 8: Launch

We’ve tested the site, had it reviewed and approved, and now it’s ready for the big launch! Once we launch, we will run all of our last minute diagnostic checks to ensure that the website is performing exactly how it should be. Once our checklist is complete, you and your customers can enjoy your brand new website!

Step 9: Site Maintenance

We see websites are living, breathing entities that require constant care and maintenance. Updating content, making changes to the backend and fixing broken links can require constant attention, and thruthfully it is better if we handle it because we have a complete understanding of every nook and cranny of your website. We provide ongoing monthly maintenance for a fixed, low-rate fee, for which we can provide a quote after we receive your scope of work in step 1.
